Primary Purpose Parkland Center of Clinical Innovation (PCCI) is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented technical support professional, responsible for the definition/development of technology support plans, SLA manuals We are looking for entrepreneurial, innovative individuals who thrive on solving tough problems in a fast-paced environment. Delivering results, bias for action, ability to multi-task/prioritize, strong technical skills, ability to influence, leadership, and a natural curiosity are essential traits for success in this role. In this role, you will:  Define and develop a technical support plan for PCCI's enterprise software quality and validation system using latest and greatest testing/validation frameworks applicable for Python/ReactJS/.NET technology stacks..Support test-driven development and automate usage patterns by leveraging Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)  Dive deep to identify root causes of issues and/or generate reports and extract data to identify problem patterns . Identify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks to deliver results.

Minimum Specifications

Education : Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.  Prefer an advanced degree in area of specialty.

Experience : Must have 1 plus year of experience in a technical support or software development organization (Tier 3 experience preferred), in the online industry for a high-volume commercial website or service .  Preferred advanced problem-solving ability to drive great customer service and strong team relationships.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience : May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.

Skills or Special Abilities :  Must be able to demonstrate practical experience running pipelines built on Jenkins or bamboo or similar automation servers and backlog management tools . Must be able to demonstrate Knowledge/experience with the following web API technologies preferred: RESTful, JSON, XML . Must be able to demonstrate Experience working with remote/virtual teams; ability to collaborate across boundaries. Must be able to demonstrate Communication skills are a key component of this role with audiences that include customers, peers and occasional executive presence . Must be able to demonstrate Strong documentation skills to be utilized for case management, knowledge capture, bug management and training . 2+ years of experience in a product support management or Level 1 support engineer.  Must be able to demonstrate Preferred knowledge of Geo Mapping Software and must be able to handle feeds/upload through manual and automated process . Must be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of scripting Python, Linux, Groovy .Must be able to demonstrate O365 knowledge, Microsoft teams and SharePoint. knowledge of cloud environment . Must have effective communication skills, for both verbal and written communication with peers, senior personnel, and external contacts.  Must be able to demonstrate effective critical thinking skills, with regard to support systems . Nice to understand clinical data and the use of this data in a healthcare environment, as applicable.  Nice to have knowledge of databases and cloud infrastructure. Must have knowledge of automated test tools for Web, Mobile, and SOA.  Must possess the capability to analyze the software requirements, technical and functional specification documents to develop test scripts to assure the code operates as defined. Responsibilities  Perform deep technical investigations that stretch your skills to solve complex performance issues for our customers & partners.  Take ownership to monitor and resolve customer issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs) balancing speed and quality . Contribute to product improvements by filing bugs and design change requests, and help developers fix and ship them to production to prevent customers from being impacted.  Use judgement and effective communication skills to compose timely Alerts and issue visibility correspondence to developers and Stakeholder.  Create process or troubleshooting documentation that enables knowledge base for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support issues.  Provide thought leadership to influence strategy when engaging with customers and partner and contribute to business case development for policy changes and engineering asks.  Support effective rollouts of new pilots and features. Participate in Engineering led bug bashes to help launch stable and low friction releases to markets globally . Night and weekend on-call work is required.  Shadow's teammates during call out, PTO etc.  Perform deep technical investigations that stretch your skills to solve complex performance issues for our customers & partners.  Take ownership to monitor and resolve customer issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs) balancing speed and quality .
