Primary Purpose


  • Provides system administration, operational support, and application development for the Talent Management systems.


Minimum Specifications


  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in related field.



  • Must have two years of experience working with a Talent/Learning Management System. Preferred experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Must have two years of HTML coding experience.
  • Preferred knowledge on data analytics.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience

  • May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

  • Must be able to develop an understanding of the subject matter addressed by the Talent Management system such as learning, development, performance, goal management, onboarding, succession planning, and compensation.
  • Must be organized and be able to multi-task in order to carry out system administration duties.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Must have good time management and priority setting skills.
  • Must be proficient in operating systems including Windows, etc.
  • Must have knowledge of relational database management systems.
  • Must have knowledge of client-server technology and internet application architecture.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of the Talent Management system, the operating system and its command structure, tools and utilities.
  • Must be able to develop procedural and technical documentation in support of developing programs in Talent Management system.
  • Must be able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and applications.
  • Must have knowledge of operating systems including Windows, etc.
  • Preferred knowledge of report development and data analytics.
  • Preferred knowledge of cloud technology and internet application architecture.


  • Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues.
  • Designs LMS pages and templates using HTML coding.
  • Facilitates functional teams and stakeholders in the design and configuration of the system to provide seamless integration for client/server applications.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures with enterprise applications, using the Talent Management System to deploy training
  • Implements new systems releases, updates and resulting work that may need to be performed in support the update, such as file conversions, workstation software updates and testing.
  • Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of the department and Parkland.

  2. Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and/or maintaining certification or licensure. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices.
  3. Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws and guidelines that impact the area. Develops effective internal controls designed to promote adherence with applicable laws, accreditation agency requirements, and federal, state, and private health plans. Seeks advice and guidance as needed to ensure proper understanding.
