Primary Purpose:
This position’s primary responsibility is strategically supporting the internal candidate experience and assisting internal candidates through the recruitment process. The individual in this role will act as a liaison between Workforce Development, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition to help drive communications that will enhance the internal candidate experience. This role involves collaboration with hiring managers and other Talent Acquisition Advisors to understand departmental objectives and staffing needs. The incumbent will provide feedback to internal candidates regarding their application process and direct them to appropriate resources that can help support them in their career development.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Human Resources or Business Administration fields desired.
Experience:
- 1 year of recruitment experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3 years of recruitment experience with no bachelor’s degree.
- Recruitment experience is defined as – job posting, sourcing candidates, resume review, pre-screening candidates, interview process management, offer process management and onboarding.
- Preferred experience:
- Medical/healthcare staffing
- Utilizing ATS tools to manage the recruiting process.
- Delivering staffing results
- Creating/building effective relationships
- Peer and leader communication
- Change management and recruitment project management
Equivalent Education and/or Experience:
3 years of experience supporting or designing workforce development, internal career navigation, or succession planning programs in lieu of recruitment experience.
Certification/Registration/Licensure:
- Professional in Human Resources Certification preferred (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
Skills or Special Abilities:
- Passion for assisting internal candidates in achieving career advancement objectives.
- Must possess the ability to maintain ongoing knowledge of Parkland policy and procedures, federal and state laws regarding employment practices and provide updates to Talent Acquisition, HR Staff, and department leadership.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills for tactful conversations about internal career movement processes and recruitment expectations.
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships.
- Competence in evaluating job descriptions and assessing role fit for internal candidates.
- Professional interaction with peers, executives, and other stakeholders, positively representing the organization.
- Capability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to track, document, and report progress accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure 100% compliance of hiring process activities and resolve any discrepancies that may arise prior to completion of the hiring process.
- Serve as point of contact for internal candidates, Career Navigators, and hiring managers throughout the recruitment/application process to respond to general inquiries, questions, and concerns.
- Act as partner, consultant, and adviser to stakeholders by developing and executing strategies to facilitate hiring of internal talent.
- Offer insight, best practices, and interview preparation to both candidates & hiring managers.
- Educate internal candidates on proper internal application procedures.
- Review internal candidate applications to validate qualifications and accuracy.
- Research job vacancies to assess and provide internal candidates with potential career opportunities.
- Conduct phone screens to assess candidate skills, experience, salary requirements, availability, and interest for staff roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Advisors to provide constructive verbal and written feedback to internal candidates.
- Ensure consistent documentation of candidate statuses throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the departments across the hospital and clinics.
- Partner with appropriate resources to help build and maintain a skilled and diverse pipeline of qualified internal candidates for current and future opportunities.
- Demonstrate competence in critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills.
- Support the ServiceNow Office of Talent Management Tickets regularly for internal candidate requests and inquiries.
