Primary Purpose

The Supplier Diversity Program Manager will provide formal M/WBE Program compliance reports on a periodic and ad hoc basis. The Supplier Diversity Program Manager will maintain and monitor the B2Gnow business diversity software system to ensure accurate compliance reporting with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines with Federal, State and Local programs. The Supplier Diversity Program Manager will also serve as an expert of data analysis, reporting both internally and externally, provide statistical analysis and conduct metric reports regarding business diversity trends.

 

Minimum Specifications

 

Education

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.

 

Experience

  • Must have three years relevant professional experience in Business Diversity, contract compliance or a corporate regulatory environment.

 

Equivalent Education and/or Experience

  • May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

 

Skills or Special Abilities

  • Must have advanced computer skills to input, extract, and analyze information accurately using spreadsheet and database management software.
  • Must have a working knowledge of business diversity metrics.
  • Must be able to prepare detailed electronic reports of information on a periodic and ad-hoc basis.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills. Ability to drive initiatives to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must demonstrate strong written and oral communications skills to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and external institutions.
  • Must have the ability to create and deliver presentations to groups varying in size and diversity.
  • Must have the knowledge and ability to make appropriate recommendations for process improvement.
  • Must demonstrate advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Power Point software applications.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for oversight, auditing and reporting of contract payments, contractual and statutory compliance, and project expenditures.
  2. Maintains data and information of assigned contracts within the supplier diversity software system and initiates all correspondence regarding inaccurate and/or missing data to contractors, vendors, or suppliers to cure any non-compliance.
  3. Manages supplier diversity initiatives with internal and external stakeholders by coordinating communications, business meetings and events.
  4. Provides formal M/WBE Program compliance reports on a periodic and ad hoc basis.
  5. Maintains and monitor the B2Gnow business diversity software system to ensure accurate compliance reporting with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines with Federal, State and Local programs.
  6. Serves as an expert of data analysis, reporting both internally and externally, provide statistical analysis and conduct metric reports regarding business diversity trends.

 

Job Accountabilities

  1. Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of the department and Parkland.
  2. Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and/or maintaining certification or licensure. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices.
  3. Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that impact the area. Develops effective internal controls designed to promote adherence with applicable laws, accreditation agency requirements, and federal, state, and private health plans. Seeks advice and guidance as needed to ensure proper understanding.
