Primary Purpose

The Sr. Marketing Analyst role at Parkland Community Health Plan (PCHP) is responsible for providing data and analysis insights and tactical support on campaign execution with strategic partners. The position reports to the Director of Marketing Operations and works closely with the marketing team and agency to interpret, presents findings, and make recommendations. Participates in all aspects and platforms used for reporting, analytics, and campaign execution. Success in this role will encompass honing analytical skills across multiple platforms, helping to determine what works, and then optimizing for better success.

 

Minimum Specifications

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

 

Master and/or other advanced degree in business or marketing is preferred.

 

 

Experience

5 years of related experience working in marketing analytics.

 

Experience taking data points, integrating them into a marketing model, then analyzing those results.

 

Experience in healthcare or managed care is preferred.

 

 

Equivalent Education and/or Experience

May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

 

Skills or Special Abilities

Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.

 

Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen.

 

Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

 

Proven ability in handling multiple projects with a great attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

 

Familiarity with SQL is preferred.

 

 

Responsibilities

Develops and delivers an innovative person-centric consumer analytics strategy for the PCHP focused on core consumer measures which define success for data acquisition, analytics and presentation to support the consumer journey across our various business units.

 

Manages, organizes and presents consumer and digital analytics insights and recommendations that drive action.

 

Creates analytic strategies and solutions using consumer data developing and delivering both regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to help drive decision-making.

 

Participates in workgroups as assigned, providing multi-channel analytics data and insights to inform and optimize initiatives.

 

Establishes key metrics and KPIs in consultation with internal and external stakeholders, advising on strategies and data solutions.

 

Delivers solutions using best practices and latest trends in marketing, consumer and web analytics, including SEO, CRM, digital content and campaign management.

 

Collaborates closely to other analytic domains within PCHP IT Data and Analytics as appropriate.

 

Drives the requirements, definitions and governance strategies ensuring appropriate and accurate tracking and measurement.

 

 

Job Accountabilities

  1. Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of PCHP.
  2. Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and/or maintaining certification or licensure. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices.
  3. Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws and guidelines that impact the area. Develops effective internal controls designed to promote adherence with applicable laws, accreditation agency requirements, and customer requirements. Seeks advice and guidance as needed to ensure proper understanding.
