The Sr. Marketing Analyst role at Parkland Community Health Plan (PCHP) is responsible for providing data and analysis insights and tactical support on campaign execution with strategic partners. The position reports to the Director of Marketing Operations and works closely with the marketing team and agency to interpret, presents findings, and make recommendations. Participates in all aspects and platforms used for reporting, analytics, and campaign execution. Success in this role will encompass honing analytical skills across multiple platforms, helping to determine what works, and then optimizing for better success.

Minimum Required Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.

- Master and/or other advanced degree in business or marketing is preferred.

Minimum Required Experience:

- 5 years of related experience working in marketing analytics.

- Experience taking data points, integrating them into a marketing model, then analyzing those results.

- Experience in healthcare or managed care is preferred.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:

- May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

Skills or Special Abilities:

- Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.

- Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen.

- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

- Proven ability in handling multiple projects with a great attention to detail and accuracy.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

- Familiarity with SQL is preferred.


- Provides actionable overall member, provider, and industry insights to address key strategic questions.

- Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, key performance indicators (KPIs) and development/automation of regular reports.

- Analyzes member and provider data using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.

- Evaluates members online behavior and provides insights and recommendations for further enhancements to the overall member experience.

- Analyzes A/B and multi-variate tests, communicates results and provides recommendations.

- Creates PowerPoint presentations to provide member and provider insights to the marketing team and other departments within PCHP.

- Works closely with the marketing team and other departments to identify opportunities for new member acquisition and growth.

- Own, with relation to our agency vendor, PCHP¿s member profile database; work with vendor to build modeling/scoring and results, outcomes, and insights for new member acquisition and retention efforts.

- Works collaboratively with our Web/Digital Marketing Strategist to align all digital campaigns to overall goals.

- Conducts competitive research and analyzes benchmarking data.

- Measures ROI of online and offline marketing campaigns.

1. Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of PCHP.

2. Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and/or maintaining certification or licensure. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices.

3. Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws and guidelines that impact the area. Develops effective internal controls designed to promote adherence with applicable laws, accreditation agency requirements, and customer requirements. Seeks advice and guidance as needed to ensure proper understanding.
