PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Responsible for management of Patient Access Center staff productivity to optimize service delivery and ensure patient safety.

 

 

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education:

  •  Must have a High school diploma.
  •  Prefer Associates' Degree or higher.

 

Experience:

  • Must have three (3) years of customer service experience in customer service environment with direct customer / patient contact
  •  Must have three (3) years' experience in a medium to high volume administrative or call center (> 40k interactions or calls per month) environment (can be concurrent with customer service).
  • Prefer experience as a team lead or equivalent.
  •  Prefer experience in healthcare environment.
  •  Prefer experience using Cisco CUIC

 

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:

  •  May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

 

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

  •  None.

 

Skills or Special Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to change as business needs require.
  • Must possess advanced organizational skills; able to multi-task
  • Must be analytical and fact based; demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Must possess basic knowledge of PCs; intermediate knowledge and use of MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with call recording and monitoring software such as Higher Ground's Calibre or equivalent
  • Creative and able to effectively deliver presentations and training programs, both classroom and via WebEx or similar technology.
  • Must be able to demonstrate initiative, and independent judgment in resolving schedule-related issues.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with a variety of audiences and levels of Parkland's staff; demonstrate both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma a plus.
  • Bilingual a plus.
