PRIMARY PURPOSE

Leads assigned technicians in performing various production duties to ensure an adequate supply of clean linen is provided throughout Parkland and to other customers in a timely, safe and sanitary manner.


MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education:

• None 
  
  

Experience:

• Must have four years of laundry production experience in a high-volume healthcare, institutional or commercial environment. 
  
  

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:

• May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above. 
  
  

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

• Must be a Certified Washroom Technician (CWT) through the Association for Linen Management (ALM) or obtain certification within 90 days of placement in position.

Skills or Special Abilities:

• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must demonstrate leadership capabilities. 
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills in a computerized laundry environment and perform basic mathematical calculations.
