PRIMARY PURPOSE The Enrollment Specialist recruits patients in different care settings, and obtains consent to participate in programs and or research, follows up with patients to identify outstanding unresolved social issues and refers them for intervention, and evaluates patients' satisfaction with the program. S/He also generates and presents program reports, and promotes programs in the community. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education: - Associate Degree in Business, Human Services or related field is preferred. Experience: - Experience in a health or human services field required. - Research experience is a plus. - Two years¿ experience working as a Social Worker is preferred. Equivalent Education and/or Experience: - May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements. Certification/Registration/Licensure: - None. Skills or Special Abilities: - Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively represent the program to participants, families, outside agencies, community groups, community professionals and the general public. - Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. - Ability to establish effective relationships with community members, community organizations, and co-workers. - Highly organized and has demonstrated attention to detail. - May require travel to multiple work locations.
