PRIMARY PURPOSE

IT Business Partner Manager: 

This position is responsible for managing the overall IT strategic partnership with operational departments across the enterprise.  The IT Business Partner Manager will help grow the customer relationship management across the organization.  Overall responsibilities include vetting new incoming IT requests with a focus on application consolidation, developing strategic business cases (including benefits and total cost of ownership/financial analysis), workflow optimization, capacity planning and fiscal year capital planning.    

 

Prefer:  CRM or BRM certification, healthcare experience and financial analysis/ROI experience.


MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education:
-Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:
-Must have eight years of Applications experience in the relevant technology environment; OR, must have eight years of education/experience in a functional area demonstrating systems analyst and programming skills.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:
- May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:
-Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS-700.A: National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction by November 1, 2014 or obtain within 30 days of placement in role whichever date is greater.
-Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS-100.HCB: Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS 100) for Healthcare/Hospitals by November 1, 2014 or obtain within 30 days of placement in role whichever date is greater.
-Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS-200.HCA: Applying ICS to Healthcare Organizations (ICS 200) by November 1, 2014 or obtain within 30 days of placement in role whichever date is greater.

Skills or Special Abilities:
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with peers, supervisors, and customers in all aspects of the responsibilities of this position.
- Must be able to communicate with customers and Information Technology staff from various departments to define problem statements and alternative solutions for consensus and approval.
- Must be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding and application of technologies within the department.
- Must demonstrate the ability to create plans for multi-dimensional and strategic projects that are clear in terms of risk, potential outcomes, costs and benefits.
- Must be able to reengineer business processes and determine their impact on business operations, the application systems and their supporting technologies.
- Must have knowledge of products such as word processing, spreadsheets and management of database tables in a PC environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective management skills and techniques.

Minimum Technical Requirements (Not Comprehensive):
- Must demonstrate the ability to understand and write/modify programs in one or more development languages.
- Must demonstrate an understanding of patient data and the use of this data in a healthcare environment, as applicable.
- Must demonstrate understanding of health care applications.
- Must demonstrate the ability to prepare specifications and architecture/design documentation for complex programs that may have client server components.
- Must demonstrate the ability to support and develop complex programs in several technologies.
- Must demonstrate the ability to participate in establishing graphical user interface standards across the department as well as for specific projects.
- Must demonstrate the ability to design complex user interface dialogues.
- Must demonstrate the ability to develop reports using off-the shelf tools such as Crystal or developed in the native development language.
- Must demonstrate the ability to write stored procedures using complex SQL statement structures involving complex table joins and other such operations.
