The Behavioral Standards team is charged with developing and implementing observable behaviors that support our guiding principles of Compassion, Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, Leadership, Excellence and Stewardship.
For just one example of these behaviors, here are principles we hold for customer waiting:
- Educate families about processes and provide a comfortable atmosphere for waiting customers
- An acceptable waiting time for scheduled appointments is 10 minutes; it is one hour for non-scheduled appointment
- Offer refreshments and an apology if a wait occurs. Always thank customers for waiting
- Update family members periodically—at least hourly—while the customer is undergoing a procedure
Our people are standard bearers for Parkland's commitment to Service Excellence. The talented employees here are known for their ability to “walk the talk” every day—especially when difficult situations arise.
