About Parkland: Looking back, moving forward

Over a century ago, Parkland Hospital was a clapboard building on the corner of Maple and Oak Lawn avenues. Today, we’re on the threshold of a 2.5-million-square-foot facility slated to open in 2014. Throughout our long history, Parkland has undergone many transitions. But one thing has never changed: our dedication to providing healthcare to those who need it most in our community.

As we move forward, our skilled professionals will continue to serve all who need our care. That’s a responsibility we eagerly take on, because we know that the ultimate measure of our success is in the satisfaction we get from serving the people of Dallas. Join us and be a part of compassionate care at Parkland.
